Yelich hitting third isn’t much of a problem when the 2, 4, and 5 hitters whiff around him.

I had concerns about the Brewers offense coming into this series but I expected them to produce more than the 2020 team did in its cameo playoff appearance.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

These announcers are a little annoying. They seem more pro-Braves than I'd like.

They are dumb. The announcer just referred to that screaming liner as 60mph off the bat to describe it being hard hit.

Does he not know how hard balls come off the bat? 60mph would be really dang slow.

I think you misheard him. He mentioned 'That's baseball...liner caught, but Rileys 60 mph ball was a hit'. Something to that effect.

Chicken or Egg? Some say strikeouts are no worse than any other out, and in fact, sometimes better because the team is not grounding into double play.

Counterpoint - Brewers strike out so much that nobody is ever on first base for a prospective double play to happen.

The problem is more that they are swinging at unhittable pitches and just generally look lost up there. Swinging at ball 4 like Tellez just did is especially painful.

I must have gotten lost in his stutter when he had an awkward pause trying to explain it.

Ball seems to not be carrying much. A few times this game I've thought balls were crushed off the bat (obviously not from Brewers hitters) but then wind up just being routine flys.

The one by Albies I was a bit surprised by, but none of the other ones sounded great off the bat. Probably off the end of the bat a bit.

That's a catch...right?

I'm looking at the rulebook, and I don't think so:

It is not a catch, however, if simultaneously or immediately following his contact with the ball, he collides with a player,

or with a wall, or if he falls down, and as a result of such collision or falling, drops the ball.
