I posted this for Game #1 and we won the game. Didn't do so for game #2 and we lost. I'm going to bring it back for Game #3 so that we win again.

Here's a little diddy I just whipped up this morning. Enjoy [smile]

Let’s Goooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

It’s time! It’s time to feel the magic,

The march to rings begins, anything less would be tragic.

Our hearts and cheers go out to thee,

The ones that play on a field of glee.

The boys of summer rightfully play

Now it’s time for the for them October stay!

Adames, Escobar, Burnes and Hader

Braves beware, our boys are crusaders.

The smell of the grass, the crisp of the air,

The Crew will march on, to the NLCS, I swear!

It starts today, this is the real deal,

Best bring your A-Game, it’s about to get real.

Sorry Braves fans, there won’t be an appeal.

Your hearts…brewers will steal.

Let’s Gooooooooo!!!!

Counsell and his Crew are well equipped to outsmart the Braves brass,

We’ll get an early lead and we’ll not let off the gas.

Our pitching will thwart any attempts the Braves have to pass

Onto the next round, the Brewers will be ahead of the class.

It’s starts today, our march for the ring,

Like the Bucks in Six, the Crew too will sing.

We Are The Champions! We Are The Champions!

Yell it out to the mountains, Brewers Win Brewers Win!!!

LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not superstitious: It's bad luck. :laughing (sorry)

Surprisingly, they said on one of the telecasts last night that the winner of game 3 in a DS in which the teams go in tied at 1-1 has only gone on to win the series 54% of the time. I didn’t catch how many series or how many years this covered but that seems counterintuitive.

Even recognizing that, this is undeniably a huge game. I don’t think the Brewers can go 6 innings without getting a runner in scoring position again.

Anderson is more than capable of shutting down the Brewers like Morton and Fried did and like he did in May. Peralta is capable of shutting down the Braves too, but I don’t think the Brewers have any inherent pitching advantage in this game.

538 gives the Braves a 57% chance of winning.

From MLB Network research:

The winner of Game 3 in a best-of-five postseason series tied at 1-1 has gone on to win the series 39 of 54 times (72.2%) entering 2021.

That definitely didn’t sound right. Either I heard it wrong or they said it wrong.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

All you have to do against Yelich is: First pitch anything down the middle… he won’t swing. Then just pitch curveballs until he strikes out.

Funny, I was thinking the same thing. He's basically hitting like every high school batter I faced.

Yeah, that's one of the Crew's better offensive innings.

You have to make Anderson throw strikes. Wily did. Yelich needs to be way more patient in his AB. OBP is one big skill right now.

And Avi just sold out on a 2-2 fastball and got something not close.

My biggest problem with the offense is just approach. Everyone seems to have the same one all the time, which is why Adams is so important and Peterson feels like a breath of fresh air.

You guys constantly bash Yelich(likely because of how much $$ he makes, but who cares), and never bash all the other guys in the lineup that continue to swing at horrible pitches. Criticize fine, but be equal about it. But I said it last game, if/until the crew decides to change their philosophy and buy big bats(more than 1) the only way they will ever win a world series is with an incredible amount of luck. The longer they wait while the stud arms are still young, the smaller the window becomes. I'd have thought they would understand this concept, but it appears as of yet they do not, or simply refuse to do it.

Or rolls over it…he certainly won’t get it up in the air.

Yeah, I’ve been fooled two or three times this year checking his batted ball data. He’s got one of the best hard-hit rates on the team…and the highest ground ball rate, too. Brutal.

I would feel sorry for Christian Yelich for how much he sucks if I wasn't so damn mad at him for how much he sucks.

I don't get "mad" at players unless they are awful people or aren't trying. I feel bad for Yelich - something is clearly wrong and I'm sure nobody feels worse about his performance than he does. It's like fans getting all pissed off at Crosby yesterday. You think he's happy about missing a bunch of kicks?
