Really hasn’t felt like he has pitched that great…just nothing going right and bad swings.

good pitching causes bad swings. Fried's got a lot of movement on his curve. He's hung a few, but he's been putting it where he wants it for the most part.

Yeah, not totally buying that. There have been some really awful at bats and and inconsistent approach as a whole. Still some time but the offense needs to buckle down.

How far do the Braves push Fried, I wonder? I'd let him pitch forever if it were me, but we'll see where Snitker's at. Gotta keep it close for it to matter much, though.

No reason to not keep going with him unless they want to bring him back on short rest for game 4 I guess. Their bullpen is plenty good enough if we keep having ABs like this.

Hope he throws enough to not see him again this series, but now a three run lead, hurts those odds.

I am trying to remember if the Brewers have had a real comeback win in their playoff years.

I know they were down 1-0 early once or twice and came back, but anything more than that? Seems like every game they've won they've played from ahead.

Maybe they're due?

Edit: maybe Game 1 of the 2011 NLCS?

Fried has a good pitch mix and clearly has Brewers hitters uncomfortable with predicting what's coming. I think he's been brilliant today. I agree that curve ball looks like it hangs but it seems to surprise hitters every time.

Not a bad pitch by any stretch. Better hitting. This just in: Riley is a good hitter.

The pitch to Freeman and the pitch to Riley were not good in either selection or execution.

Pretty sure they were down 2-0 in game 4 too
