Pulling Pina was just a really bad move. It used up both Vogelbach and Taylor, and we didn't have anyone to use in the 9th when we really needed someone with the game on the line.

Vogelbach is hard to have on your roster. He can’t run. He doesn’t hit lefties. Back to back games pulled because of these problems.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Atlanta has a bullpen full of lefties, and a lefty starter that's going to pitch twice, and your 1B is Rowdy Tellez. I have no idea why Vogelbach is on the roster for this series.

Yeah, I'm just not that frustrated weirdly. I kind of figured on 1-1.

The Brewers have to win games when Atlanta is either a) throwing their lesser starters or b) throwing one of their top 2 on short rest.

That's it. The offense is going to have to hit Ian Anderson/Ynoa, and Lauer/Freddy have to do their thing to the tune of a quality start.

We're back to a toss-up series, but, if you'd asked me before game 1, I'd have had Atlanta as slight favorites. Now, I think the Brewers are. Just getting one at home was that big because the drop from Fried to Anderson is bigger than Woody to Freddy/Lauer.

I think CC goes Freddy, and I'm reconsidering my gut-feeling to go Lauer. This is why Peralta is here.

Yep. No way the September swoon carries over to the playoffs. Not really any clutch hitting for this team

in a month.

:embarrassed

Pitching is good. They had one less hit than the Braves today. One more than the Braves yesterday.
