Here's a little diddy I just whipped up this morning. Enjoy :)

Let’s Goooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

It’s time! It’s time to feel the magic,

The march to rings begins, anything less would be tragic.

Our hearts and cheers go out to thee,

The ones that play on a field of glee.

The boys of summer rightfully play

Now it’s time for the for them October stay!

Adames, Escobar, Burnes and Hader

Braves beware, our boys are crusaders.

The smell of the grass, the crisp of the air,

The Crew will march on, to the NLCS, I swear!

It starts today, this is the real deal,

Best bring your A-Game, it’s about to get real.

Sorry Braves fans, there won’t be an appeal.

Your hearts…brewers will steal.

Let’s Gooooooooo!!!!

Counsell and his Crew are well equipped to outsmart the Braves brass,

We’ll get an early lead and we’ll not let off the gas.

Our pitching will thwart any attempts the Braves have to pass

Onto the next round, the Brewers will be ahead of the class.

It’s starts today, our march for the ring,

Like the Bucks in Six, the Crew too will sing.

We Are The Champions! We Are The Champions!

Yell it out to the mountains, Brewers Win Brewers Win!!!

LET’S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Urias was 3rd by bWAR / 5th by fWAR on the team this year, his bat is a wash with Rowdy but he offers more value both on the bases & afield, so I think he'll get the nod in a slightly juggled version of NYChez's guess...

Wong 2B

Adames SS

Escobar 1B

Garcia RF

Yelich LF

Urias 3B

Narvaez C

Cain CF

Burnes P

I'd hope Playoff Craig has Peralta in the bullpen today. Hasn't pitched in forever, will be another two days off before game 3 or three before game 4. He could certainly go an inning, two if they have Lauer start game 3.

Suter probably wouldn't see action in a NLDS game unless A) Our starter blew or B) extra innings.

I doubt this ends up meaning much.

Yep. He might even be back for the NLCS, where he is far more likely to pitch since they play 3 straight days. It SHOULD be tough to get our 10th and 11th pitchers any work in this series unless there is a marathon extra inning game. Even then, I'd rather see Houser and Ashby go 3+ innings then use Gustave.

Where a guy like Suter could have been needed is an extra inning game. With no runner in 2nd it’s certainly possible to have an extended game ……..Suter is a quality pitcher who certainly could have been needed since you never know how a game will go.

Being without Williams and Suter really puts pressure on the other guys.

Is the roof going to be open/closed depending on weather? I know its supposed to rain today, but what about tomorrow with sunny/70s? I recall 2011 going to game 5 of the NLDS being baffled by the roof being closed on an 80+ degree day.

Don't even recall what they did in 2018.

I think one of the best parts about baseball are the intricacies of different ballparks. The Green Monster, the Ivy Wall at Wrigley, the weird bump at Minute Maid. Why MLB has had the desire to "keep things consistent" at Miller Park (now AmFam) for the playoffs is kind of weird to me.

Hopefully this goes similar to the ALDS games yesterday...couple early runs, Burnes locks down the Braves, minimal sweating needed.

My fear is that Burnes gets into pitch count trouble and has to be pulled around the 5th -- in that case I hope we go with whatever starter isn't going to pitch games 3-4 to get us to Box in the 8th.

[sarcasm]You seem to have forgotten to mention the "C ring".[/sarcasm]
