Hmm... the defense starting to do good things. The fire Barry crowd may end up being much like the Fire Haines crowd and I'm here for it!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

lucky we didn't get a late hit/roughing the passer in the int.

Gotta hit the QB, over and over again, if the zebras make a terrible call, they make a terrible call.

oh I agree. there was a hit on jimmy g as he released the ball and knowing the rules how they are, I'm just glad it didn't cost us an INT

Yeah, I hope they don't just over compensate for last year and kicking that FG. Take the dang points.

I get being aggressive - but you take the points there

The NFL has really shifted to aggressive on downs like that in the last few years. I think it is mostly because fans like it so there isn’t much blowback for the coach. I would like to see our coach play the percentages though.

I just think you add on points as much as possible. You have them on their heels. Going for it gives the opportunity for a change in momentum early in the game.

I'll add. I'd much rather be up 13-0 and have them go down for a TD and be up 13-7 than get stopped and see them go down to make it 10-7 and a 95 yard drive. Talk about momentum.

Yeah, it reminds me of the 2014 NFCCG in Seattle. They kicked two field goals in the same situation and contributed enough points to win the game.

Well, should've been enough.

It's not because fans like it. It's because of the analytics boom providing evidence that punting from the 44 yard line doesn't really help you and giving the opponent the ball inside their own 5 is a good enough consolation prize that it's worth trying to pickup an extra 4 points.
