Sounds Shutout Clippers, Finish 2021 Home Slate with Five-Game Sweep

Victor Castaneda took a no-hitter into the 6th inning and two relievers danced around some traffic, before Chad Sobotka and Luke Barker shut down the Clippers for good. Jamie Westbrook provided the only offense required, with a solo home run in the 2nd inning. Nashville and Durham are the only remaining undefeated teams in the AAA Final Stretch. The team will now head to Indianapolis for their final 5 games of the season, commencing Wednesday.

 

Jamie Westbrook - 1-3, HR, 1 RBI

David Dahl - 1-2, walk

Keon Broxton - 1-3

Victor Castaneda is the winner - 5.1 innings, zero runs, 6 Ks

Blaine Hardy, Connor Sadzeck, Chad Sobotka and Luke Barker - combined 3.2 innings, zero runs, 6 Ks (Barker save)
