It sure looks like our rotation is loaded for next season.

I'm even expecting a better season from Houser and Lauer than this one, add in Ashby?

My my my...

They might have to try and flip an arm for an RBI bat in the offseason.

I like the depth though, losing just one of those guys to injury puts us in a position of need at pitching again.

I hope they keep all 6 of them, and go a different route for a bat.

Anderson has to be gone for good.

Yup. Pitching depth is so key. Don't go trading it away just because you think you have enough. Find offense somewhere else.

Better to buy bats in FA than pitching. Bradley being the exception here recently but it is far better economically to buy a bat in FA than it is for pitching as there are usually multiple options that fall into the Brewers price range. Pitching on the other hand you are looking at guys like Anderson, Lohse and Suppan. While some work out Anderson and Lohse were successes you are normally going to get Looper, Suppan and Garza types. Best to stay away from the starting pitching market in FA unless you can get someone that is undervalued like Anderson and Chacin and you can do it for a short-term contract 1-2 years.

Nice job, raptor. What do you think, just turn it over to Hader and not jack around with this one? My only apprehension is that once you play that card, if Hader gets into trouble, what do you do then? I mean, it could turn into Chernobyl around here pretty quickly…

EDIT: and we have our answer, Hader it is

Who jokes about 2008?

That felt like a trip to the world series it had been so long since we had sniffed the playoffs!

Oh, I'm with you. Just heard a lot of snark about that banner over the years.

4 big-time outs from Suter.

Hero work from the lefties tonight. Wouldn't surprise me if Suter game out for the 9th, either. Total bullpen saver.
