I mean yeah hindsight is 20/20, but Walking Yelich to get to Pablo Freaking Reyes made all the sense in the world. Knew 100% he'd k. He's not a major league player. Period. Even as bad as Yeli has been he could still run into one. Reyes?? MAYBE Maybe a seeing eye single, that ties the game.

I was hoping for a walk.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Tomorrow is an extremely important game

…and if not that one, then the next day!

In all seriousness if they can win one game in this series then I’m pretty confident they’ll still clinch the division with more than a week to go in the season.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

I find it hilarious yet totally on par with your posts that you say "yeah hindsight is 20/20" and follow it u with "Knew 100% he'd k. Do you realize how that sounds?

Well at least you got the very first part of your take right.

Getting one has been the goal since Monday. But now that the two most favorable pitching matchups have passed and the offense is still showing no signs of life, getting that one is getting harder every day.

I’m not real confident that Anderson will be able to keep the ball in the park against the sluggers in the middle of the Cardinal order.

What? Can't you make a 100% hindsight argument as long as you tag it with "hindsight is 20/20"? Isn't that how it works?

My point is if the Cardinals win tomorrow, they can start thinking mildly about the division by winning Thursday .

The brewers have played completely crap baseball for a week and a half now. Thank god we played the cubs last weekend.

The brewers aren’t sweeping the Mets so are we really going to go into next cardinals and dodgers series needing to win games to clinch

My god.

Anderson will be down 2 or 3-0 before we get to bat tomorrow

Nah, they really can't. This series has been frustrating, but it would take a historically epic collapse the likes of which have never been seen in MLB history for what you are suggesting to even come close to happening.

For who? The Cardinals and Brewers are basically locked into their respective playoff spots now.

Cardinals take the last two from us

Then we lose 2 of 3 to the Mets and the Cards take 3 of 4 from the Cubs

Then the Cards sweep us in Stl

Then we go into the last weekend at LA and they host the Cubs, only up 3 games

It’s very unlikely , but it is not a crazy set of outcomes

Don't care...If you actually thought Pablo Reyes was going to do anything positive there than I want some of what you're smoking. The ending was inevitable. Could have gotten the same AB from a Pitcher.

Those same Cardinals sluggers that have the 4th fewest home runs against LHPs in MLB this season.

I mean what if the Brewers never win another game ever again. They scored less runs than their opponent tonight. Who's to say they'll ever score runs again?

Right? First the Reds are the juggernaut? Now its the Cardinals? The Cardinals are on a lucky streak. That's it.
