"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Zavier Warren had a night! First AB, batting righty against a lefty, swats a high and away fastball the other way for a double. Second AB, batting lefty, golfs a 1-2 curveball for a homer. Third AB, golfs another breaking ball for a double (reached 3rd on an error). Fourth AB, smacks a high fastball for a single.

As a switch hitter, he has an .849 OPS against RHP and a .616 OPS against LHP, which may lead one to wonder if he should concentrate on just one side. In my eyes, he's definitely one of the organization's top-10 prospects.

Wiemer isn’t going to be the Brewers #23 prospect for much longer

Agreed. 14 homes in 31 High A games. We've never seen a better streak. Fun to watch.
