The Shuckers finally get to take the field, after a day off and two rain outs. Andy Otero takes the mound, trying to improve to a perfect 6-0 at the AA level, while the team needs to break a 2-game losing streak:

Mudcats Battle Back from Early Deficit, But Lose 5-2 to Woodpeckers

Early Deficit Too Much to Overcome in Shuckers’ 6-4 Loss to Smokies

The club trailed 6-0 after 3 innings, cut the gap to 6-4 by the 6th inning, but couldn’t pull out a win.

Colin Rea and Three Relievers Combine to Shutout Stripers 1-0

A 3rd inning RBI groundout by David Dahl produced the game’s only run, in a rare AAA game which had Zero extra base hits. The Sounds went 0-10 with runners in scoring position, but won nonetheless.
