Joey Wiemer has homered in 5 of his last 8 games. He leads the Timber Rattlers, which try to win a 3rd straight:

Mudcats Blast Woodpeckers 9-2

Alex Binelas homered in the 1st, Andre Nnebe in the 2nd and Ernesto Martinez in the 9th, but the real damage was a 3-run 6th inning to break open a 3-2 game.

 

Ernesto Martinez – 2-5, HR, 2 RBIs

Noah Campbell – 2-3, 2B, 3 walks, 2 RBIs

Andre Nnebe – 1-3, HR, 2 walks, 1 RBI

Alex Binelas – 1-4, HR, walk, 2 RBIs

Zack Raabe – 1-3, 2 walks, 1 RBI

Darrien Miller – 1-3, 2 walks

Jefferson Figueroa with a decent start – 4.1 innings, 2 ER, 6 Ks

Junior Montero picked up the win – 2.2 innings, zero runs, 3 Ks

Robbie Baker was also solid – 2.0 innings, zero runs, 2 Ks

Alex Hall Leads Today’s Timber Rattler Rally to Beat Loons 4-2

Zavier Warren’s 8th inning RBI walk put the team ahead, which added one more run in the 9th.

 

Alex Hall – 3-4, HR, 3 RBIs

Brandon Knarr came back strong after yielding 2 runs in the first – 5.0 innings, 2 ER, 4 Ks

Cristian Sierra was superb and took the victory – 2.1 innings, zero runs, 6 Ks

Nash Walters earned the save – 1.2 innings, zero runs, 3 Ks
