I thought Cepheus pushed off on King on that long pass but my intention isn't to make excuses for King's either.

Paying King any amount of money at all, and justifiying it by saying he's a "placeholder" for Stokes is a brutal, awful misallocation of resources for a team that was already tight under the cap.

To be fair, King seems to be regressing. There was a time when his biggest problem was not being able to stay on the field. Now, he’s getting toasted left and right.

I am not sure King would make a 53 man roster if he were released tomorrow. I think he'd wind up on a practice squad in Buffalo.

Does anyone have any hope that the Packers can stop a short yardage run up the middle when Lancaster and Lowry in there?

So if that's a forward pass why is it not grounding? Desperation release and zero receiver in the area.

EDIT: Nevermind. Good call.

I disagree but I'll take it.

My goodness i can’t believe that’s real.

Honestly a street free agent would be better. Why is he even in the league?

ask and receive.

I mean to me the MNF commentators are wrong. It's a classic grounding. Yes there's a receiver 20 yards down the field that you can construe as an intended receiver. Literally pretty much every grounding situation ever involves pressure that affects a throw. If you're going to just assume that the throw gets there without the pressure then it kind of defeats the purpose of the rule.

Yeah, I don't get the "he meant to throw it way downfield". So what? He didn't. the ref's job isn't to determine intent. By rule what occurred was intentional grounding.
