2021-09-08: Phillies (Gibson) at Brewers (Peralta) [Brewers win, 4-3 -- Escobar go-ahead HR proves the difference; Crew cuts magic number to 10]

So if Burnes gets rocked in his last 2-3 starts of the season is he out of the rotation too?

Crissakes. What do you think dude

If hate to get your take on this one… scares me too much.

You got my take. Go back and figure it out

It’s pretty damn simple.

Prospect Pundits: “The Brewers have a bottom 5 system.”

Brewers Farm System: “Here’s a dude ranked like 4th or 5th in our system that slings it from the left side and throws an exploding slider paired with a high-90s crooked fastball.”

So very true. System is always under appreciated. A ton of young talent beginning to unveil themselves.

Well that settles it. Ashby has firmly grabbed the playoff spot from Peralta.

Let’s just see how Peralta does in his next, what, four outings. Same for the rest of the lineup, rotation, and bullpen. No need to make absolute statements a month out, especially for this team with daily injuries and surprisingly great play for long stretches from role players.

It is pretty comical. Unfortunately, there’s no accountability for those idiots that do the rankings. They’re like the mock draft predictors and draft graders that look foolish just about every year.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I don’t want to beat a dead horse… but… is this one of the worst seasons we’ve ever witnessed from a hitter? I can’t remember many worse than this. JBJ can’t seem to do much right.

His OPS+ of 39 is the worst in franchise history, “exceeding” Mike Matheny’s 1996 and Tim Johnson’s 1973 OPS+ of 44.

Is he in danger of not being on playoff roster if Taylor comes back

Was wondering that myself. I'm guessing he makes it just for the late game defense.
