I mean.... you have to play your starters a few quarters in the pre-season. Just practicing and scrimmaging is not the same as playing against live competition. You can't go into your first game and use that as a "warm up". There's only 16 (wait.....17) games to get a wild card/division title/ home game, and basically punting one game away by not playing starters at all in the pre-season is just dumb. This is dumb.

Worse yet, MLF botched the clock management, didn't burn his last timeout on D before the 4th down so now we're left with a 1 minute drill instead of a 2 minute drill.
