I am just so proud of this Team right now. Our beloved Brewers made the post season a mere 4 times from 1970-2017. It is getting awfully awfully close to going on a run 4 years IN A ROW. I can not take this for granted. This Season, considering how I was approaching it as a fan (fairly skeptically and negatively if I'm being honest), is an absolute gift. Let's hope we stay healthy, get Wily back and in Form, and see where the Chips fall.

Reds just beat the Cubs 4-3, so the Brewers can only subtract one off the Magic Number tonight. Still just a matter of time at this point, but it would be nice to see them put the division to bed in a week or so.

It’s going to be more than a week because the Brewers only have 6 games in the next 9 days and the Reds have 7. So, only 13 opportunities for the magic number to be reduced.

But, it is set up perfectly for the Brewers to clinch during the 10 game home stand against the Cubs, Cardinals, and Mets that starts next Friday. If they don’t clinch during that stand a lot of fans, including me, would be getting a little antsy.

It has now literally reached the point where if the Brewers win half of their remaining games the Reds would have to go undefeated to tie them.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

The four playoff appearances in a row makes me retroactively even more disappointed the Brewers finished a game behind the Rockies for a playoff spot in 2017.

Not just “at Night” anymore.
