My wife just pointed out that Sofia says “he said” all the time. Now I can’t listen to her without picking that out.

I've heard this pointed out about Sofia before, but as the previous poster said, she's reporting pretty often on things that have been told to her by players, managers, coaches, and various stadium and front office personnel, so it's just something she's going to say. There's only so many synonyms for "he said" that a person can use before it sounds forced, IMO.

She is very good at her job imo. Like her for the most part. Trenni was better but not by much.

The Reds pitching staff is auditioning for Home Run Derby pitching in next year's All Star Game.

This isn’t really the night to be poking fun at other teams’ pitchers for giving up gopher balls.

They just said that the Tigers have hit 3 or more HRs 4 games in a row.

They pounded out quite a few in that one game at AFF too.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Ehh, it’s pretty much like the president of our company during conference calls says “umm” all the time. It’s just one of those things once you hear it you just notice it more. Not saying she is bad at her job, just one of those little things :laughing

Let me guess, the Reds have a better pitching staff than the Brewers too? It’s so weird how much of a Reds apologist (fan) you’ve been this season.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

You really are a one trick pony aren’t you?

It's weird to me that you are so obsessed with a couple of comments that I made in June and early July after the Reds won 3 straight from the Brewers at AFF (twice) that you have to lie about when I made them. And that you can look at all of the posts I have made this season and conclude that I'm a Reds fan. If you think those attacks make me look bad, you might be looking in the wrong direction. It was my understanding that your ad hominem comments were against the rules of this forum, but I’ll leave it to the moderators to decide that.

FYI, the comment that triggered your response was simply based on the fact that the Brewers have given up more HRs than the Reds tonight.

The amount of injuries….. two guys getting hurt a game should never seem normal, but it does in 2021.

I stopped watching in the third inning. Who got hurt tonight? Are you counting Garcia? Did Yelich leave because he was hurt, not ejected?

Topa and Norris

Ah, that didn’t come through just looking at a play by play summary. When I see relievers removed after being ineffective and/or throwing a lot of pitches I just figure they’ve had enough.

I guess Bettinger and maybe Gustave will be back soon to fill innings.
