Some wild ones tonight...

Carolina offense had a great game tallying nine runs with Tyler Black (3-5, 2 2B), Alex Binelas (3-5, 2B, HR) and Wes Clarke (2-4, HR) leading the charge. Unfortunately Delmarva put up eighteen runs of their own, though LF Noah Campbell pitched a scoreless 9th to go along with his 2-4 at the plate. Ohtani who?

Wisconsin prevailed 8-7 in a true team effort with everyone except Ashton McGee notching a hit (though Ashton still managed to contribute both a run scored & batted in) while Zavier & Zamora had multi hit games & JGJ HR'd. Nash Walters struck out 5 in his 2 IP.

Blue Complex won 5-1. Luis Medina had a pair of hits & Hendry Mendez's double represented the lone XBH for the offense while Alexander Cornielle (5 IP | 1 ER | 6 K) & Ryne Moore (2 IP | 2 K) took care of business on the mound.

Gold Complex lost 2-1 with Alwinson Valdez contributing the lone multi hit performance on offense while Lun Zhao (2.1 IP | 2 K) & Pablo Garabitos (1.1 IP | 4 K) had the best pitching lines.

Box: DSL Tigers 10, DSL Brewers #1 Squad 5, seven innings

18-year-old Venezuelan RHP Jesus Rivero struck out three but didn't complete the first inning (ooh, oddity), still has not allowed a run in 12.2 IP. Perhaps he hit a one-inning pitch limit, as he also walked two.

Among the three players in the lineup with OPS' north of .900, 18-year-old Venezuelan LF Diego Larez has the most AB's, with 74.

Box: DSL Brewers #2 Squad 7, DSL Pirates Gold 5, seven innings

18-year-old Venezuelan RHP Gerson Calzadilla finally has an ERA, it's 0.36 as he allowed his first earned run in 25 innings. Needs to sometimes pick up his teammates, seven unearned runs allowed, three of them in this game.

17-year-old Venezuelan catcher Felipe Valderrama, DH'ing here, on base all four times up.
