We faced Quintana many times as a Cub and it feels like we have about 6 career hits off him. :laughing

I think I might have rather faced their regulars.

In 2019 we were much better against quintana. He was 3-2 but had a 5.81 era and a whip over 1.4. our team ops was over .800

If you could put a short blurb with the gist of the tweet along with the link that would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Are we seriously hoping for Brewers losses now because we're afraid of the Dodgers. Screw that, sweep the Giants and go for the best record in the league. If we have to play the Dodgers round 1, then lets sweep them too.

Bingo.

Dodgers just dropped 2 of 3 at home against the Rockies, and got shut out in the 3rd game.

They are very beatable.

Javy Baez last 162 games -> 223 k's, 24 bb's.

He was the guy I wanted Chicago to shell out a lot of money for. It would’ve been perfect.

I'm still holding out hope. He has just about punched his ticket out of NY with his latest rhetoric. Chicago might be the only place who will take him.

I was also very upset when Baez was dealt. I’m

Still hoping for 8 years, 200 million + back to the Cubs. He has consistently been the most overrated player in baseball. well the last time we played the giants all of our guys were out with COVID, just random timing it starts taking them out now.

It appears that the giants have recalled two right handed pitchers, so aside from Quintana no other crappy lefties have been brought in.

The Reds slowing down over the last 20 games (just 10-10) can partly be attributed to Joey Votto slowing way down. Over the last 15 games his ops is under . 700 (just .684)

One of the main reasons why the Reds were able to keep pace-ish with us back in July was because Votto was white hot. Now that he's cooled off and the rest of the team is being asked to do the heavy lifting, they're not.

Wood has Covid…..Cueto not feeling well

Ok, I had been hoping to merely not get swept and for all to leave this series without injury. Now I guess I have to add COVID-free to the list.

I get it, but we've had plenty of exposure and a good vaxxed percentage. Plus, on-field transmission is not super likely. Pretty low-risk for the Brewers on that front.

Oh, for sure, my comment was half blue. Heck, I don't feel overly worried when I go play beer league sand volleyball, and I guarantee the clientele at my watering hole has a much lower vaccination rate than MLB teams.

Man, I’m already sleepy and it’s not game time. I hate West Coast games.
