Why is Reyes even in this lineup again? Guy should be last off the bench.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Let's just try to get through today without harming the fragile psyche of the 4 men in blue. Speak formally, always address them as "sir" or "Mr. Johnson" or "Mr. Riggs," etc. Bow when greeting them if necessary.

Luckily there won't be any scrub teams from the AL central in the playoffs, between the Twins and Royals they are definitely the teams weak link (1-8 on the season so far). And we split 1-1 with Detroit.

The Brewers have been horrible scoring early runs for about the last 2 weeks, since the Cubs series. It’s about time to tag one of these pitchers with their 5 plus ERA’s with an early cooked number.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Is there any rhyme or reason as to why we always start off games so slowly offensively? It was the opposite several years ago. There's no logic behind it. It's not like we put scrubs at the top of our lineup or have had a gauntlet of tough starters to face recently.

Teams are more likely to walk guys or make errors later on?

I don’t know much about the minor leagues but I find it hard to believe Reyes is the best possible player to get called up every time.

Our AAA roster is a bunch of late 20's/early 30's journeymen. Sadly, Reyes coming up and playing solid D at multiple positions and putting up a .275 OBP is about the best we could probably hope for out of the batch we have.

A strikeout against Astudillo is a solid accomplishment for Ashby. Willians had just 11 in 182 plate appearances this season coming into today. Astudillo also somehow has just two walks this season.
Not just “at Night” anymore.
