Quick wrap for Saturday games...

Carolina loses 5-4. Frelick the only multi hit guy on the offense side at 2-4. All eight Carolina hits were singles. Nate Peden (3 IP, 0 ER, 5 K) had the best pitching line.

Wisconsin loses 12-0. Zavier, Zamora & Valerio each doubled with Warren adding a single to account for all four Rattler hits. Chad McLanahan pitched a scoreless eighth.

Nashville wins 2-1. Dustin Peterson's two run walk off bomb provided the offense while Small (2 IP, 2 K), Sanchez (1 IP) & Gustave (1 IP, 2 K) recorded zeroes with Luke Barker transforming from the losing pitcher after giving up the lone Gwinnett run in the top of the 9th to the winning pitcher after the walk off in the bottom half.

On the Complex side Gold team took both ends of a doubleheader against Navy team.

A Blayberg Diaz home run provided the lone offense in a 1-0 victory in the first game with Hedbert, Hendry, Eduarqui, Jaraba & Reidy Mercado notching the only other hits. Edwin Jimenez (6 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K) had a nice game with Israel Puello (4 IP, 6 K) & Brannon Jordan (1 IP, 3 K) also posting impressive lines.

Game two saw a little more action at 10-3. Hedbert lead the way at 2-3 with a 2B, BB & 2 RBI while Alberis Ferrer hit a bomb, Oswel Leones went 2-2 with a 2B & 2 BB, etc. Not much of note on the pitching side, though Lun Zhao picked up the win with his second scoreless frame of the year.
