We can hope for it, but it will never happen. MLB has turned a blind eye to it and will deny there's a problem.

We’ve had some real duds lately but just avoid any prolonged losing streak until Adames, Escobar and Peralta come back and we should be fine as long as we don’t have to face too many crappy LH starters.

Maybe it's just me and I could be way off buy Yelly's swing is messed up. I was always taught and I coached that the swing and your arms will bring your hips through. Yelly seams to be doing the opposite as I watched that last at bat. He's opening hs hips right away and using his hips to bring his arms through. Opening his hips early means pitches on the inside of the plate will generally be pulled foul and pitches on the outside will be missed or produce weak fly balls. That leaves usually the middle part of the plate in the hit zone. I'm sure they must have experts that look at this stuff but watching him it looks that way to me. Maybe I'm way off but he don't look right.

 

Tellez's last at bat was the ugliest of the night. Nomar should have pinched hit for him, worry about the D later. I don't think he or Vogelback are the answer. Need to look elsewhere.

It is nuts. The al central is one of the worst divisions in baseball and we struggle against these clowns. We made the twinkies' pitchers look like Cy Young candidates last night. So far we have split with them. We got swept by the Royals. Lord knows how we'll do when we play the Tigers again and the Guardians. Talk about playing down to your competition. The only decent team there is the White Sox and we took that series. smh
