The Twins have two lefty starters lined up for the first two games of this series. In the case of Albers he’s another player the Brewers originally drafted (12th round in 2004 out of a Canadian high school), but didn’t sign. Albers, who will turn 36 in October, has pitched 1,437 professional innings including in MiLB, KBO, and NPB. Only 125 of those career innings have come in MLB to date.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Will be dodging rain tonight and tomorrow night. It was not looking good for tonight 12 hours ago but it appears that the rain will clear out just in time.

We will be there tonight so I hope they can get it in and started on time.

Brewers already are really short RH bats and need to fill the DH spot too. If Adames can't play that makes it worse. Would they recall Hiura to DH for a couple games? The Twins pitchers are basically AAA guys anyway. He should be able to compete against them.

Hiura's last 7 games.....1-12 with 9 strikeouts

Last 15 games.....7-38 with 20 strikeouts......

Zero homers.

He isn't coming up

That is just baffling...

The time to trade him and get anything in return may be passing.

Damn, just so disappointing.

Boy. AAA pitchers are even finding ways to whiff him at a record pace. Yuck.

Keston is OPSing >1.000 in AAA this year and he's getting time at 2B again. He has a future at 2B if he can get better at defense. He's only 24.

There's no rush. Let him play all of 2022 in AAA. We're going to need a 2B in 2023. He's under team control through 2025.

Why would we need a 2B in '23? Wong has a team option that will almost certainly be exercised.

Forgot about Wong's option.

Well four lefties in the lineup might reverse the curse against these crappy LHPs. Hopefully this isn’t a big trap series, this twins team is truly awful.

Since May 20th they've played just 4 games under. They started the season really bad and never recovered. They're not great by any stretch, but they're gonna beat some teams. 6th in the AL in runs. 2nd in homeruns. (of course minus Nelson Cruz now) Butt pitching has been their big problem.
