This is the last best chance for the Reds if they have any division dreams. My guess is that Burnes is ready for the bright lights but the Reds aren't.

I predict the Brewers to pour it on the whole series and put the central lead into double digit territory.

If you’re the Reds, you just keep winning series and let everything else shake out as it may. Nobody thought the Padres would stumble through the easy part of their schedule, but they did.

From the Brewers’ perspective…don’t get swept, don’t get injured.

Derek Carty’s The Bat X projections (available via The Athletic) give the Brewers a 67.10% chance of winning tonight.

Those are the second highest odds of any game in MLB today behind only the Jack Flaherty led Cardinals over the Tigers (71.09% projected win percentage).

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Coach Cooper would be proud of your predictions.

Timpep, that was a beautiful post. The "bright lights" pull made me laugh.

Tonight’s game starts what figures to be a very difficult stretch of 16 games in 16 days, with 13 of them against teams with winning records fighting for playoff spots, including 4 against the Giants.

If the Brewers can get through these 5 series without losing too much of their lead, they will be in great shape heading into the last 20 games. Tonight’s game is a big one to set the tone. Task number one is to break the spell that the Reds pitchers have had over them at AFF.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Just me, or does Wily look a little tentative on the bases?

I thought he was going to score easy. It was pretty obvious the ball wasn’t going to be caught and it took him awhile to get to 3rd

Don't mind him taking it easy a bit, but does seem like he might be mursing something minor, as lots of guys are this time.of year.
