I assume the Tyrone Taylor oblique injury means we won’t see him again until some point in September.

Corey Ray time?

Is David Dahl healthy? [that’s probably a perpetual no]

In all seriousness, I wouldn’t hate seeing Corey Ray get a chance.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

I don't think they would need an OF necessarily. Jace gives them enough coverage.

The Brewers have been sleepwalking since the 5 spot against Woody last night

The offense has been pretty weak since Sunday but the pitching bailed them out in 3 games. With Peralta out and Woodruff not pitching like an ace his last couple times out, the offense has to step up. Some high powered offenses coming up on the schedule in the next two weeks and 2 runs per game isn’t going to win many.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

He suffered a leg injury a couple of days ago and hasn't played since.

David Dahl did just hit a home run for Nashville a few minutes ago. I don’t think it’s likely we’ll see him on the major league team this year, but stranger things have happened [like Ryon Healy coming out of the shadows to bat cleanup in a playoff game last season].

Not just “at Night” anymore.

This continues to be a pitching and defense-centric team with a maddeningly inconsistent offense.

i really don't think they've been all that inconsistent since the Adames trade. Every single team in the league goes through stretches just like this. It happens.

Correct. In fact they’ve been the best offense.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

While I'm usually one of the first ones to go off the rails about the offense I think this is just a normal stretch of a few games that everybody goes quiet at the plate for a few games.

Hopefully it's one of the three-game variety and not 10 game variety.
