That it do the joe yourselves and don’t worry about what the outside works does

Here's an attempt at a translation:

Famous White Sox outfielder "Shoeless" Joe Jackson is remembered for his association with the Black Sox Scandal, in which members of the 1919 Chicago White Sox participated in a conspiracy to fix the World Series. As a result of Jackson's association with the scandal, Kenesaw Mountain Landis, Major League Baseball's first commissioner, banned Jackson from playing after the 1920 season despite his exceptional play in the 1919 World Series, in which he led both teams in several statistical categories and set a World Series record with 12 base hits.

In much the same light, the Milwaukee Brewers starting rotation has become embroiled in a conspiracy to scare a portion of the team's fanbase into thinking a division race that is all but over is somehow still in doubt. However, the starters (other than "inside man" Brett Anderson) have continued to perform admirably during the team's unfortunate slide, while the offense has gone dormant, which has caused some to fiercely debate the rotation's palpability in the scandal, with new accounts claiming their innocence and urging the scared portion of the fanbase to reconsider their views. As a result of the scandal, the rotation has been ensured a place in baseball lore.

Here's an attempt at a translation:… Edited for space

What an interesting translation. I see our understanding of the words “joe” and “works” differ. Where I see geopolitics, you see baseball. Given the forum this strange work was found in, I will concede to your judgment. I hope we meet again soon.

Best,

LP

That's the difficult thing about translating a tablet written in an ancient, long dormant tongue. So much of the translation is, quite frankly, educated guesstimation. Who knows ... perhaps we are both right, and Shoeless Joe faked his own death years ago, and is now a key player in the AUKUS negotiations, despite his advanced age of 134? One never knows ..

Just because the number is zero doesn’t mean that the Cardinals and Reds can’t sneak up and steal this sucker from us. I know the probability is now 100% but you just don’t want to leave the door open. Just have to keep winning.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Perfection ;)

The Brewers are, after all, the 3rd best team in the division.

Just like the Padres are preparing for the playoffs because their probability of making them was over 95%.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
