Can’t remember the last back to back bunt pop outs.

I hope I don’t see it again for a long time. I don’t like seeing a hitter with some power bunting with two outs.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I don't mind it...if you can show an ability to do it, it at least makes folks think a little bit in the shift.

Man, soft contact hurting Anderson here. Hope he can get out of here 3-1.

Pirates broadcast put up a graphic that Anderson has the best ERA in all of baseball since July 1st.

Burns, Houser, and Lauer were also top 6, all four guys under 2.00 ERA since July 1st.

It must’ve been starters in the National League because Jameson Taillon has been incredible over 43.1 IP since July 1st. He has a 1.25 ERA over that time. Anderson has a 1.40 ERA over 25.2 IP since July 1st.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

It could’ve been NL. Walker Buehler was 2nd I believe and there was one other non-Brewer.

Between Rowdy, Vogelbach and Hiura I think we’re learning about the importance of a good fielding 1st baseman. Definitely should have been scooped up.

I'd say that after a rough start (Which is to be expected), Hiura was fine at 1B. His issue was always throwing, and not doing much of that at 1st. Obviously he didn't hit anywhere near enough to stick at first either way though. Let's hope he can get sorted out in AAA.

How aggressive would you be should Anderson's spot come up?

If he really got knocked around for the 4 runs maybe. The fact that it was mostly bad luck and some bad defense, I think they take a couple more innings given the double header.
