Urias @ SS (710 innings) -5 DRS / -6.4 UZR

Urias @ 2B (489 innings) +2 DRS / -0.3 UZR

Urias @ 3B (575 innings) +6 DRS / +2.3 UZR

Small samples abound, but Urias has graded out fine at 2B and above average at 3B so far in his career.

I'm shocked that someone with a .937 fielding percentage at third this year is above average. He's not Ryan Braun bad but he makes a ton of errors.

He has seven errors at third base. The League average fielding percentage at third base is 956. So in a similar amount of time, a league average third baseman would probably have five errors instead of seven, so two less errors.

He's played 44 games over there. Can probably extrapolate that out to about 25 errors over a full season. A league average third baseman would probably make 15 to 18. He's also getting to more balls than a league average third baseman because of his range.

At 3rd? I thought the vast majority of his errors this year were as a SS?

He's been worse at SS but bad at third as well(as far as errors go).

10 Errors in 331 Innings at SS this year and 7 Errors in 391 innings at 3rd.

Don't want to rip the guy because he's a + player overall and Pina just hit a grand slam so I don't really feel like complaining, I was just shocked he grades out as above average just based on the errors he makes.(I know Fielding PCT doesn't really mean a ton in a vacuum)

He’s also not getting regular playing time at any of his positions which doesn’t help I’m sure.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Willy Adames seems to bring all of Arcia's flair and enthusiasm/clubhouse presence, and then some, without the terrible lack of plate discipline and other assorted brain farts.

Yeah that's a good way to describe him. Arcia personality, plus the actual player we all wished Arcia would become.

It's hard to measure and probably nonsense, but I really think that contagious happiness he has elevates the entire team to another level.
