Only two teams will make the Low-A East playoffs, with the Mudcats holding the second slot by just 1 game over Salem and 2.5 games over today’s opponent, the Wood Ducks. Brandon Knarr is on the mound, trying to re-claim the Low-A East lead in strikeouts (Joey Estes 102, Knarr 96):

Am I the only one seeing that bobblehead? :laughing

That is amazing.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006
