Somebody should put together a lineup of all-time Brewer killers. Soler would probably be in there.

On the hitting side here is the list of all-time batting leaders versus the Brewers heading into this season (not updated with this season’s stats)…

On the plus side most of those names legitimately belong on that list. Odubel Herra and Scott Hatteberg not as much. Frank Thomas benefitting from a lot of ABs against really bad 90's pitchers (not the he needed the help).

5-1 road trip baby! Let’s go smack around those pirates at home!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I had forgotten about Jason Kubel. A career .777 OPS hitter that had a .342 BA / .410 OBP / .640 SLG / 1.050 OPS against the Brewers.

The Reds gave Votto a day off after his 7 game HR streak came to an end, and his replacement (some guy named Schmuck or Strock or something) goes 5 for 5 with an HR.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Love when the bullpen wins a game

Nice to see hader get a shut down inning widen it matters

Reds are starting to get a little annoying though

Since the Brewers sweep in Cincinnati the Reds have been basically matching the Brewers win for win. They have literally had the exact same result as the Brewers on the last 10 days both teams have played. I’ll take that for another two months.

Yeah, if the Brewers keep winning at a nearly .600 winning percentage then I don’t think they need to spend too much time worrying about the Reds.
