Wily!! What a pickup this guy was.

And Stearns was astute enough to pick him up well before any other team made their "big" acquisitions. DS didn't wait, he made it happen. The other teams are just catching up.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

We are going to look back at this trade the way we did the Yelich trade. I cannot believe the Brewers got the guy for two bullpen arms. That said Rays probably didn't need him but man it's really something what he has done.

Brewers are 16-16 against the braves since 2015. Define dog crap.

Do you know what they are in Atlanta? My perception/ recollection is that the Brewers have lost a lot more series than they have won there over the last 10 years or so.

[sarcasm]It doesn't matter what the numbers say, I'm sure that your perception in correct[/sarcasm]

I know we love the Adames trade but that Narvaez / Garcia off-season is looking sweeter and sweeter as well.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Timing is everything. He was scuffling and they had his replacement. It worked to our benefit and I don’t feel a bit bad about it. Only thing better is if it was from a large market team.

I know this team isn't as star studded as maybe some teams of the past but this might be the most complete Brewers team of my lifetime.

I honestly don't think he would have broken out of yet if he has stayed in Tampa til now. He had a real problem with his vision there for some reason and his home/away splits really make that theory look plausible as to why he wasn't the player he is now.

I'm a bit impressed with Escobar's composure. First game with a new team, contender, at the trade deadline. Probably really wants to show his stuff...swing the bat...hit a bomb...yet has the patience to take 2 walks. This coming from a guy not watching the game and have no idea what the pitches looked like
