Great comeback to beat Philly in the 4th with Giannis blocking Embiid to seal the deal.

Doesn’t get much better than that.

That block was...just...incredible. Giannis is developing a highlight reel of completely unjustifiable and incredulous defensive stops to his resume of game winners. What I personally loved, just as much, was his Mamba mentality silky pull up jumper with roughly 1:48 to go as well. The young man is just on another Level.

That block might have changed the trajectory of the MVP race.  It's tight at the top, and it looks like Jokic is still the favorite, but if the Nugs somehow slide down to the 7 spot and the play-in, that could slide Giannis into the top spot.   That block was all over basketball twitter last night.  When big, amazing plays like that happen late in a season, in a *big* game between two contending teams, it's not crazy to think a few votes might get swayed.

Maybe not.

Anyways.  Giannis is the best player in the league right now.  It's nuts how good this guy has gotten.

Second unit got lit up to end the first quarter in Brooklyn.  Come playoff time they can’t play with Lopez and Giannis off the court at the same time for very long. Miss the pick and roll D, although not many matchups as hard to guard as Durant.

Yeah, pretty impressive win, especially considering no Midds down the stretch after what I thought was a pretty questionable Flagrant 2 call.

Yeah, that changed the tenor of the game for sure.  But, they came out of Jersey with a win, Giannis dominated again.... Brook keeps getting the minutes he needs to be ready for the playoffs...... Hey! 20 games over .500.  The 1-seed is still a target.  Ideally we'll avoid these guys in the 1st round, but I'm not overly concerned if they don't.

9 point comeback in the last 3-ish minutes to force OT was nuts.  Also, Giannis is now the all time leading scorer in Bucks history.

Not to mention, all-time leading scorer ON A STEP-BACK 3 POINTER. I mean, COME ON. We are so blessed by his greatness as Bucks fans. Not a game night goes by I don't count my lucky stars I am watching a transcendent and generational talent perform in a Milwaukee Bucks uniform.

I am just going to say, because it needs to be said, the fact Giannis has been largely considered a 3rd place in this MVP prognosticating and straw polling is patently absurd. No way. No how. Not anywhere. Not ever. You have to perform some very very serious basketball gymnastics, especially after these 2 Master Class performances, to consider that a logical result.

Edit to Add:

This. Just this. Good gracious basketball Gods almighty...

can a guy be most improved and win the MVP again? Cuz Giannis keeps getting better

LOL. Jrue Holiday said just this in his post game presser. I laughed out loud because, my goodness, it really is true. He finds more levels and more levels.

The absolutely crazy thing, as a Bucks fan, is we now have the makings of our very own Playoffs assassin. We are now the team other fanbases 'hate'. It is so glorious. Pinch me!

I swear when you're the MVP it seems like you get 2 years to be the MVP and then voters get sick of you no matter what you're doing.

It is definitely a thing in all sports. IF you want to win that 3rd you really really have to defy that bias. I mean, case and point was that absurd Redick interview. I mean, he didn't even consider Giannis Top 3 IN THE NBA. This is a former NBA player, for crying out loud. It was about as classic a 'Well, Giannis but, yeah, what about this?' stupid take as there is. He continues, somehow and 100% inexplicably, to fly under the radar of Greatness. He is THE best player in the NBA and it isn't really even close. Embiid and Jokic are incredible players. Durant is an incredible talent. Giannis is on another Level.

I like George Hill - I always have. BUT, with the way he is playing at present he does not deserve minutes over Jevon Carter. I know Bud likes to favor his vets, and I get that. BUT, George is not playing very well whereas Jevon Carter is playing lights out and brings all Hill brings and more defensively - he merely lacks George's length. I sincerely hope Jevon gets some Playoff minutes. He is made for the Playoffs.

Oof.  That was an ugly punt last night.  I know the guys are managing minutes as the playoffs approach and yada yada, but giving up 153 is hard to do in 4 quarters, no matter who you have on the court.  Covington dropping 11/18 on threes is crazy.

Bucks have fallen to 3rd with the last two losses.  They are in danger to dropping to 4th or 5th if they don't start turning this around this coming week.  The Boston game is a must win if they want to avoid being a 4th or 5th seed.

Right now on the opposite side of the bracket from the Heat, 76ers, and Nets.  Can’t ask for more than that.  Hard to say how it all shakes out.

ACB MVP Luca Vildoza is soon to be part of the Bucks

can't say I know anything about him, but potentially a smart move by the bucks. with their cap situation they have to be creative on adding to the roster. Not sure how much he can help this playoff, but its nice that he in under contract for next season.
