Trade Bryant for Yelich straight up. Maybe they will hold on thinking he will have his glory days back

Stick the Cubs with that contract.

If Bryant leaves than at least we can start over and we have money again

And Bryant would give us a better chance to win it all this year than Yelich

I'd make that trade in a heartbeat.

did LaRussa forget he could double switch?

Brewcrewin07 - as frustrating as it is when you want to see your team do something and they don't do it, it seems like a good time to point out that said team is 17 games over .500 doing it their way, good for 3rd in the NL and the best record by far in their division. They've been in the playoffs three consecutive seasons now.

I know you probably won't admit it, but the guys running the show are probably doing a better job than you (or I) could do.

Omar just doesn't look right. He used to pick good pitches with good contact.

Wearing down. As much as the brewers have done to protect the pitching after a short season imagine playing catcher this season is going to take a toll. Probably need to sprinkle Pina in more except he can't hit. Get another bat and then he won't hurt you so bad.

I'll tell you what...you all ******** about Yelich and pretty much all the other batters in this lineup, and then most of you don't want them to acquire a big bat?? You can't have it both ways. Who cares what it costs in prospects.

This is such an embellishment. Who here wouldn't love it if they added a big bat to the lineup? Basically everyone would. Wanting them to add some good help, while being disciplined enough not to say "who cares what it costs in prospects", so you don't end up giving up the next Woodruff or Burnes for short-term help, is a balancing act.

Who says it has to be short term help?? It doesn't have to be a rental you know? I mean the Padres just acquired Frazier, and he's not a rental.

There is zero chance that Adam Frazier is the type of player you have been begging them to sell the farm for.

Believe me, I get all that, but they have a window THIS year with three of the best Pitchers in baseball and no one knows if they will perform anywhere near this level next year. If you don't "go for it" now, then when?? Getting in the playoffs is great, but it's about winning a title. There are no guarantees obviously, but they also can't be afraid to go "all in", and I'm afraid they will be. If they acquire a big bat(s) and it doesn't work, I will be the first to applaud them for trying. They can't sit on their hands and hem and haw about whether a price is too much to pay. If they don't try to capitalize on the opportunity they have right now, they may never get it again.

How does a ML pitcher like Liam Hendriks start his career at 90-91MPH and is tossing 99 10+years later?

Peralta was sitting at 90-91 a few years ago. Some guys add velocity as they're developing. He was also exclusively pitching as a starter.

My point with Frazier was the idea that people seem to think the bat they acquire would be a short term rental..It doesn't have to be. Frazier isn't. That was my point. There are others that aren't as well.

Watch Yelich hit .320 with 35 bombs for the Cubs next year.

I know. Ha
