they got four picks for the 31st pick I think they did pretty well

Yeah, that's pretty nice work. Especially if you're not particularly wed to any player at #31. And these 2nd round picks count very little against the salary cap - so that's a positive.

With some luck, you get a contributor out of one of them down the road.

Brogdon, Michael Redd.... just accumulate a bunch of cheap 2nd rounders and hope you get lucky with one of them. Not a bad way to go when you are up against the cap.

No, and when you don't need contributors right away - it's an easy way to watch a guy for a year or two and see if he might become something more than just filler.

The odds are not good for 2nd rounders. Some will succeed - but most don't. But again, it fits us for now. So power to us.

The 3 guys I like for the Bucks 31st pick in order:

Top choice - Trey Murphy III

2nd choice - Quentin Grimes

3rd choice - Miles McBride

Trey Murphy gone in the 17th pick (Pelicans)

Quentin Grimes gone in the 25th pick (Clippers)

Miles McBride was still available for the 31st pick, wonder if he can drop to the 54th pick.

Miles McBride gone in the 36th pick (Thunder).

I don't know that much about these guys, but McBride was someone who had stuck out to me - just reading some reports. Oh well.

A good defensive point guard that shoots 41% from 3, could potentially be a good PG for the Bucks.

Enter Sandro.

Looks like a decent all around offensive game - can pass, get to the line, shoot the three (doesn't make a lot of them but he shoots them). Wonder how he is on D?

Did Alex Antetokounmpo enter the draft? I didn’t see his name among the list of picks. I don’t think he played much in Spain last year and didn’t hear anything about him declaring for the draft, but I also read he worked out for a few NBA teams recently. If he did declare, I thought someone would have used a late second on him (like Kostas).
