What I want to see:

Wong 2B

Yelich LF

Adames SS

Garcia RF

Taylor CF

Urias 3B

Hiura 1B

Pina C

Anderson P

Looks about right, but it's too bad that we have to sit Peterson vs the LHP (.318). And I thought Tellez had better splits vs LHPs. Rowdy is 261 vs LHP and Keston is 109 vs LHP.

When I first saw this game I thought we were in KC and needed a DH. The bench just doesn't have many good options for that. I also noticed Reviewing the Brew had an article listing a bat off the bench as the #1 need.

As was discussed in the game thread when the Brewers faced Miley, the Brewers haven’t gone up against that many left handed starters this year, and they have had less success scoring and winning in games started by lefties than righties.

Minor has been roughed up pretty good lately. Hopefully the Brewers can get to him and put up some runs early.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I like that lineup, too. I would just change Hiura with "On base Jace".

I want the best lineup possible, but I also want Rowdy and Keston to get some regular ABs…

One of them has to head for AAA or another team via trade.

I was hoping they would start Tellez almost daily for a week or so just to get a good look before trade deadline
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Seeing that they are playing the Royals, I'd bet Cain is activated today, and we'll see him out in CF.

After playing nine innings for the first time on rehab, Lorenzo Cain is going to continue to play at Triple-A Nashville for now. "He's doing great health-wise," Craig Counsell said.

I see that now. I wonder if they are going to hold off on activating Cain until closer to the trade deadline? Might be some roster construction issues in play soon.

.241/.344/.481/.825 - Keston the last 65 PA’s

He’s been bad this season but not lately.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I think your numbers are off a bit. He has 31 ABs in July alone and is .194/.306/.290.

His slugging has been okay since he was recalled because there are 4 doubles and 3 homers in there, but he's also struck out 16 times in 31 at bats in July (and 14 times in 33 at bats in June). Sadly it is an improvement over where he was in April and May.
