First Base from within

The Brewers are well-known for their positional versatility … yet, none of their outfielders - including Garcia, Taylor, or Yelich - can cover first base for them. It would be so helpful to have a couple of RH bats - Garcia & Taylor - as options there once Cain returns. Both Huira (RH) & Tellez (LH) have options & based on performance this year, neither deserves to stay on the roster over Taylor. Hopefully, Milwaukee will prepare some of their outfielders to play first base before the 2022 season. For now, I’m curious to see how costly (prospect-wise) it is to address this need.

Rowdy needs to get steady at bats there before any sort of judgement is made. Also, Keston’s last 65 PA’s: .241/.344/.481/.825. I’m sure he will get more opportunities too. Right now, Peterson just continues to outplay expectations and producing for the Brewers. They have options. I’m sure it’ll get sorted out.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
