[sarcasm]Good to see Burnes bounce back from that rough outing last time out [in the All Star Game].[/sarcasm]

I’m really glad the Brewers waited until their 16th game against the Reds to find a spot for Burnes to face them.

I’m sure glad the brewers didn’t panic like I was before the all star break. I think CC deserves a lot of credit for keeping guys focused and blowing off an ugly series rather than letting it snowball.

So I’ve never actually owned a Brewers jersey [almost buying a custom Taylor Green jersey when he made his debut was the closest I came], but the fun Adames has brought to this team is making it awfully tempting to pull the trigger on my first jersey purchase.

I get what you are saying, but in that case, then he should get a lot of credit for the series that ended the 1st half...Maybe he should have kept them focused in that series as well?

....& the bullpen got 43% better results in the process....

Bullpen ERA- before trade: 113

I realize that setting a major league schedule must be challenging. But isn’t it ridiculous for two division rivals to (1) not play each other in the first 43 games of the season, then (2) play each other 16 times in the next 52 games, and (3) play each other just 3 games in the last 67 games, none later than August 26, when intra divisional games could be the most interesting.

The Brewers have played the Reds in almost a third of their games over the last 2 months.
