Can’t wait until pitchers never hit again

Same with me.

I used to be anti-DH a few years ago, but not anymore.

Take the bat away from them and be done with it!

I was hoping that the solid hits Yelich had in his last two ABs last night might be the start of a streak of competence. No such luck. Two golden RBI opportunities wasted.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I was just waiting for Burnes to blow out his hamstring.

The double hook rule is perfection. Get pitchers out of there, and avoid the AL thing where it's not uncommon for a team to not utilize a single player off the bench.

I sure hope that happens. I love my defensively versatile bench players, double switches, unsung heroes, etc. A universal DH just kills a lot of that with a boring permanent 3TO DH.

Urias and Adames have really been something.

Yup, I see no reason to concentrate on a 3B before the deadline, we need a 1B, so we should expect another middle infielder...

Yelich gets a high outside breaking ball that he should be able to rip to left and he swings right through it. 3 RBI chances today and nothing to show for it.

Not saying the pitches are not strikes but it sure feels like a lot of borderline pitches have been called strikes on Yelich. Again not excusing him but strike 2 there sure looked like a pitch that is called a ball high a lot of the time.

On the other hand he really isn't making pitchers pay for bad pitches he should drive

1st pitch was right down the heart of the plate, he watched it go by...

Even more concerned with the pair of fat pitches right in the middle of the zone that Christian didn’t do anything with today.

Not just “at Night” anymore.
