I wonder how many IGT pages it will be if Hader blows this one.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I’ll repeat myself, if they actually bring Hader into this game then I am truly baffled by the one inning limit thing in crucial situations. How in the world is having him pitch high leverage innings 4.5 hours apart a good idea for protecting his arm. I am really surprised they’d go down that road, especially in a 3-run game.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Yup. It's pretty weird.

Edit: Urias, saving the arm, I guess.

So is Hader actually available for this game? I guess I’m wrong, maybe they are willing to have a guy pitch twice in the same day. Sort of funny you wouldn’t allow Hader to throw 4 outs, but he could pitch twice in the same day 4 hours apart.

Hader’s agent allows/requires this to get his save and arby $……

I've been saying it all year. The management of Hader and the bullpen in general has been a mystery. If Hader was available twice in one day why can't he ever pitch more than one inning in one day?? It makes zero sense.

There is none and it is complete garbage. For a team like the Brewers, with zero chance/willingness to resign Hader for FA money, why would they care to please him? If he pitches like this all the way to FA there is no way the Brewers pay him.

Urias maybe can stick at third if he's going to hit 20 bombs a year.

I’ll go on record predicting peak Urias is a 25 home run per season hitter.

If true that deal might actually turn out to be a good one for the Brewers.

The beauty of having this lead is Brewers can go into a 4 game series looking for a split against the Reds if need be. Going to be tough for anyone to catch them as long as they don't fall into a complete tailspin.

Such a long losing streak. I just can’t take it anymore!

So why, oh why, could he have gone two innings tonight is separate games? Yet, it seems….. he doesn’t or even CAN’T go an extra out in the 8th?
