Josh Lindblom looks to continue his recent terrific run (0.89 ERA in 20.1 innings over last 5 outings) and lead the Sounds to victory. Have to wonder whether Christian Kelley is injured (last played June 24th), as Payton Henry makes his 34th start of the year (2 levels) at catcher:

Carlos Luna makes his second start of the year for the Timber Rattlers, having looked excellent thus far (0.51 ERA, 0.51 WHIP, 11.7 K/9 through 17.2 innings):

Voice of the Sounds Jeff Hem noted earlier that Jamie Westbrook is part of a growing "day-to-day" club, so he is still with Nashville and hasn't joined up with Olympic Team USA squad quite yet. Corey Ray and Troy Stokes others mentioned.

Be sure to catch Jeff's extended audio interview with Manager Rick Sweet here as they discuss Sweet's excellent baseball life journey.

At this point, we find joy in the little things with the Shuckers' box scores, like the fact they can pitch Derby and Kirby back-to-back, as we see here.

Bask in what RHP Carlos Luna has done with his 23.2 IP this season.

Luna, now 24, was released in May of 2020 as part of pandemic roster slicing. In mid-May this year, Luna was brought back.

It's been a tale of two seasons already for LHP Brendan Murphy, who started the season in spectacularly effective fashion. Not so much as of late.

(By the way, MiLB.com, half your pages allow for the display of game logs, half don't. Be better ;). )
