Interesting going forward when Wong is healthy. Peterson deserves to play, Urias deserves to play, Hiura has been better, JBJ has started to swing the bat in this series, who goes to the bench?

I’m sure CC will just continue to mix his lineups as he always does. He seems to do a great job continuing to get guys at bats.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

15 runs and Yelich is 0-4 with 3 strikeouts.

It says so much about Urias that he didn't shy away or pout when we acquired Adames -- he made himself indispensable. This is so much fun.

He really seemed to settle in right when that trade occurred. Maybe took a little pressure off of him.

If you go to the game today, please report on Chorizo in the sausage race. I root for Chorizo every time, and his effort and results have been garbage in the games I have gone to. Unacceptable, and if it continues, I expect them to call up a Chicken sausage soon. Would even consider Impossible meat at this point.

This causeth me to laugh. HaHa.

CC is playing 10D chess. Not only did he know his offense was going to erupt so it didn't matter who he started, but he picked a starter he knew would give the Cubs a huge lead first just to twist the knife that much more. Simply genius.

Also this thread has been fun to catch up on once I got home after the 4th inning :laughing

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

I thought that trade was Stearns acknowledging his mistake and it would be the beginning of the end for Urias...could not have been more wrong and could not be happier to be wrong about it
