He was out cold, could see his arms stiffen.

If he comes back in there are gonna be some questions.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

I don't think UW has had a 100 yard receiver in like 6 years. OSU's dude is over 300 for the game.

Wow.

Heck of a throw and catch.

We have a 4 star, highly touted recruit who can't throw a ball on target. Utah has a walk on freshman who hasn't thrown a pass in a game, literally ever, who can drop a back corner fade on a dime from the 20 yard line. It's kinda frustrating.

I get that the Badgers are not a throwing team but they need to look for a new reciever coach.

I don't think Prior or Davis got one bit better from their freshman year and honestly Dike wasn't much better this year than last year.

Yes they don't have a very good QB.

Utah should just let them score from here....sorta kidding.

Utah wants to take their TO's to the off season I guess.

Quintez Cephus had multiple 100 yard games in 2019. . .

It was hyperbole.

I wonder when the game will evolve to not playing prevent defense in the last 2-4 minutes of the half.

Nobody (except Iowa) punts anymore. Hopefully teams are going to start catching up on the "prevent doesn't work" thing soon.

They've seemed to figure out things like "kicking FGs from the 1 on 4th down is dumb", so I have hope.

Ahem... CJ Stroud as a red shirt freshman was up and down this season & arguably the best QB in the Big10 this past season (2021-22).

The crown of Best QB in the conference is his to defend in 2022 & if he can post ANOTHER game with over 550 yards passing, the question will be if he enters the NFL draft for 2023...

--------------------------------------------------------

In case it was missed, tOSU was without 24 different scholarship players for the Rose Bowl. Some absent had no impact. Others missing was noticeable. JSN got nearly 350 yards as Olave & Wilson removed themselves from the game & Utah didnt have the CB depth to slow the WR group. I doubt JSN gets that many yards with Olave & Wilson playing but tOSU might have started scoring earlier & gotten to 60 points again with them on the field..

Idk. To be honest the last few days.......watching all these walkons and guys who haven't played but a handful of downs all season all of a sudden thrown into critical roles because of THE PORTAL and opt outs and covid has made these games somewhat more interesting, IMO of course.

Two semis blowouts and an SEC Championship between Alabama and one out of the other four teams that had any chance to be in it, while the rest of the NCAA gets to feel good about things like a Paul Bunyan axe. I can hardly contain my excitement for this wonderful product.

I think the playoff has proven that the old way probably wasn't all that broken. Yeah it lead to some seasons where there was some controversy, but this isn't all that better (if at all)

This is dumb and unnecessary.

I think it was worth it for 2014 alone. It would have been Alabama and Florida State in a deja vu yawner, instead they both got blown out in the semis. I think every year Florida State made it under the BCS system they would have lost in a semi. It was a crime the Oregon teams with Joey Harrington never got in. I don't think it's unnecessary to prove on the field you should be there.

It will be hard for anyone to convince me that the playoff games have generated a better product than the non-playoff bowl games the last few days.

Every year in the middle of the season people chirp about expanding the playoffs, and every year by the time we get to the championship game it has been proven that no more than four schools belong in the playoffs, if that.
