That is pretty bad. During my first time living in the South, I caught myself drawing out words and not even realizing it. But Kelly has been there one day and is using it to play up for the crowd, wow.

I think Kelly is as big of a douche as anyone else, but people need to read the report to understand that the forecasted wind conditions didn't exceed the limit that had been set on using these lifts, and the limit was set based on 3rd party sources. Winds didn't exceed these limits (>35mph) until after practice started, and it was an unusually high wind gust that toppled the lift.

It's easy to say that he should have canceled practice and the filming, but I can't stand in a wind and tell you how hard the wind is blowing. It was 2010 so it was unlikely that they had smartphones with weather alerts, and measured wind readings in any weather reports at the time were significantly delayed from when the wind actually occurred.

To say that he "killed a guy" is at the minimum a bit of a stretch.

LOL. It happened to me too when I first lived in the South. It kind of, honestly, just happens. You are surrounded and immersed in a Sea of drawwwwwwwl. I've seen the same thing happen to friends who traveled to Ireland for a stretch...they came back and Day 1 they were talking like a Lucky Charms box. LOL.

Wonder what happens to the playoffs if by some chance Iowa upsets Michigan?

[sarcasm]They cancel it because not enough of their favorites would qualify.[/sarcasm] Or they strongly look for a third sec team to join bama and Georgia.

LOL Georgia

Pretty straightforward and suspenseless playoff field assuming Michigan wins. Bama and Michigan 1 and 2 in some order, Georgia and Cincinnati at 3 and 4.

Now if Michigan loses, then it gets interesting for the 4th spot. Notre Dame maybe?

LOL Georgia

Kinda looks like that marquee week one win against a meh Clemson win set them up to be an undeserving #1 team, doesn't it?

They've looked really good playing a charmin SEC east schedule....guessing they still wind up in the CFP, but probably will be at the expense of a more deserving Irish team at this point.

Everything coming up Cincinnati it seems. Wow. This is why we need expanded playoffs. The, "conference championship game is a defacto playoff game", point is taking a hit this year. There is a decent chance the playoff will be comprised of 2 sec teams, including the loser of the championship game, a non power 5, and Notre Dame. Obviously the big ten game just started as I'm typing this, but Michigan is not a lock to win.

Ok, maybe now they are.

Death, taxes, and the Big Ten West division champion getting destroyed in the conference championship game.

I think we have a new runner up to the Gary Anderson lead beat down of Bucky by Ohio State.

It's unlikely anyone will ever challenge that miserable performance.

Why? Every year in the middle of the college football season people start chirping about how they need expanded playoffs, and every year by the end of the season everything shakes out so that there are four deserving teams and no teams left out that aren't deserving. This year you have five teams in consideration - Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Cincinnati, and Notre Dame and Cincinnati beat Notre Dame. Notre Dame only played one school that finished the year ranked and they lost to them.

Really, who else deserves to be in this year? If the argument is non-Power 5 teams should be included, I agree - but that doesn't mean expansion, that means put an undefeated non-Power 5 team in the 4-team playoff.
