I’d really like to ask Counsell why he is hitting Vogelbach second instead of Urias, who’s a better hitter and faster runner. Especially since he usually seems to like alternating righties and lefties as much as possible. But now he has 3 lefties at the top of the order.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I wonder how long pitchers keep sort of pitching around Yelich? Youcan get him to swing and miss now and it's not like he's driving the ball, so even if you give up contact, it's probably just going to be a single.

Was just saying that same thing. Are pitchers still afraid of what he did 2 years ago?

Need to get some protection after him in the lineup. I think he’ll start regaining some of his power after that (or at least I’m hoping that’s the case).

I imagine the response would involve some sort of veteraness and less pressure on the young player, though urias was batting leadoff when Wong was out so who knows. Maybe some sort of superstition about vogey liking the 2 hole or something.

Remember what Yoda said:

Now is a great example of why I don’t like Vogelbach batting before Yelich. He’s on second with Yelich, their best base runner, on first base. If someone gets a base hit it’s going to be station-to-station whereas if Urias was on second you’d likely end up with Urias scoring and possibly Yelich on third base on many base hits.

OK, what's with the morons waving the cans of beer behind home plate like a bunch of underage teenagers who just got there first beer using a fake ID? Just annoying. Second group of them

Well Vogelbach is likely done for a long time. I guess he won’t be batting second anymore. Damn.

Edit: I am surprised they didn’t argue he was out of the baseline, because he was 15+ feet outside of the baseline from third to home.

Only a matter of time with a body like that. I’m not making fun either. It’s just a lot of stress on a body. Too bad. He just started really contributing.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
