Pablo Reyes is back in Nashville for a second stint and Luke Maile returns to the lineup after an apparently minor injury scare last week:

If Carlos Luna keeps it up a little bit longer they might want to get him up to AA.

Given his situation with him presumably being a free agent at year's end, if they think he has any chance of being a big league contributor, he probably should be in AA by the all-star break.

Bullock has also been really impressive. Since his promotion his strikeout to walk rate is 21:1.

Sounds Own the Night in Homestand Opener

Thomas Jankins Tosses Five Shutout Innings in Win over Charlotte

"Luke Barker relieved Weigel with two outs and the bases loaded and struck out Seby Zavala to end the threat."

One of the first things I review in a box score: inherited runners/scored.

Catcher Luke Maile is clearly hurting, singled in the second inning on a soft ground ball to shortstop, and was pinch-run for by Christian Kelley. Brewers need to address this for Wednesday night.

The Jesus Lujano bump from Wisconsin to Nashville is likely a temporary stop for the 22-year-old, but the organization's position player depth continues to be tested simply in terms of fashioning complete lineups each night.

Hernan Perez joined Lujano on the Nashville bench. Maybe he'll finally get his wish to catch!

More on Luke Maile:

Jeff Hem filled us in during the broadcast Tuesday. Maile's initial injury on Friday was related to a foul tip off his foot. He was available on an emergency basis over the weekend.

But Tuesday, at the 01:07:10 hour/minute mark of the broadcast here (MiLB.TV subscribers), Maile grabs the back of his leg as he reaches first base on his infield hit. Appeared to be a pretty significant hamstring issue.

There could be a slew of moves today then, given injuries to Vogelbach & Maile, absence of Perez, Palma, Chirino and maybe Castro.

It looks like Perez and Palma homered, while Chirino threw a clean inning, but it wasn’t enough in a 10-7 loss to the Dominican Republic.
