Josh Lindblom is the scheduled starter for Nashville, but it looks like rehabbing Angel Perdomo may take the first inning:

[EDIT] Mitch Longo started in right field instead of Cozens.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

We should learn more when the week's worth of Nashville pre-game interviews is released today, including Manager Rick Sweet's Sunday chat.

Bubba Derby again utilized as a pinch-hitter today.

Dylan Cozens on the bench as well as Hernan Perez and Pablo Reyes (back with team yet?). Jake Hager has not cleared waivers yet, apparently. Luke Maile, despite leaving with an apparent leg injury Friday, must be day-to-day and not headed to the IL for now.

The MLB taxi squad throws the monkey wrench into the analysis, can't believe it's not part of the daily MLB info provided to all.

And by the way, Hiura, wow.

Still a lean bench, perhaps that will be addressed with a new series Tuesday. There is a backup catcher each night, plus one other player. That does jump to two others on days when Lucas Erceg isn't scheduled to pitch in relief.
