I think we probably will be either way. I thought we probably would against Miami last year. I thought we certainly would never drop 4 straight up 2-0 in the ECF in 2019. So what do I really know.

 

I'd feel a LOT better with a win today. Don't want to be one upset away from heading onto the road down 2-0.

Patty C is ok as a role guy, but 20 minutes through 3 quarters for him in the ECF seems a bit excessive.

They came out pretty sluggish in the Nets series to start, but got better as the series went on. I figure the same will happen here as they see the Hawks more. Young is no Durant and I have confidence their defense can make him a bit more human.

 

That being said they are getting deep into the playoffs. Coming out sluggish and dropping duds at the start of series is going to burn you if you keep doing it.

Those two guys don't have a choice. If they're going to win they need to score 50 points. KD is the most explosive scorer in the world, but Giannis is a presence all over the floor. He can score, he can come up with a monster block, he can grab 15 boards, he's a pain to score on.

 

He's not having a particularly great game and is likely going to score 30 and get a triple double. And he does this almost every single night.

MVP doesn't mean you are the best player in the league just that you had the best season.
