We are winning the glass by 10 and nearly doubling them in the paint. Problem is they've hit 14 threes and we are cold. I still think we're going to pull this out. Hope anyway.

Not really. They started off shooting insane and cooled off. We're 7 for our last 15. The 3 point shooting gap has narrowed considerably and it hasn't made a difference. That's why we can't just look at things from a "once this evens out we'll be good" perspective, too many other factors in play.

Not really? They had hit 14 threes. That is literally why they've been ahead most of the game. Their threes are worth more than our 2s.

And we have 11. They started out shooting it like crazy and we were 1 for 10, and then we started hitting them but the gap hadn't really narrowed (at the time). That's all I was saying. There isn't this huge 3 PT disparity anymore that there was in the 2nd.

Well yeah, if you count the ones Middleton took after my post.

We gained about 19 percentage points since I posted that.

Eh, I'm not looking to debate much tonight. You were right about still feeling good about winning this (it appears) and that's all that really matters.

I disagree. It feels like one we're going to hang around and then steal in the 4th.

Yo! Now we can breathe for Game 4. We probably end the series if we get it, but we don't HAVE to get it.

It's definitely a low pressure game. Would be fantastic to get it, though, because you've pretty much have them down to their last breath if you get it.

Middleton was gonna pass to Giannis and then was like "uhhhh timeout"

I don't want them hacking Giannis right now, for sure. I'd love to still have Malcolm Brogdon to finish a game like this.

I did not feel good about winning tonight. I just felt like too many 50/50 calls were not going our way. Middleton getting white-hot in the 4th quarter negated that though. Still got 80 seconds to run out yet though.

This win to me feels much more satisfying than Game 2.

You know that no matter what, we have serve going back to Milwaukee. Even after the blowout win in Milwaukee, we still pretty much had to win one in ATL. We got that, and we have one to play with now.

4 is definitely a gravy game. You can lose it and still feel good about the series.

Obviously, I would much prefer to find a way to take it and not put it down to a best of 3, even with HCA. Huge difference between 3-1 and 2-2.
