I think a not terrible strategy in this situation (where you don’t score in the top of the inning) might be to walk the first batter and try to setup a double play.

I hope this loss finally brings forth some changes regarding the usage of Hader. If we all can see it then so can the rest of the organization. It’s a failure to fully utilize one of the biggest strengths of the team. Craig needs to adapt to the 10th inning rules because the Brewers play in plenty of extra innings games.

Outside of long term deals like adames I think unfortunately we can’t afford to pick up many rentals with a questionable roster surrounding 5 good pitchers. has anyone tried shock therapy with our hitters?
