The “bum of the month” performs as expected.

Here’s where my “runs on demand” theory gets tested.

If the Rockies score off Hader, a sweep of the series would be looking pretty likely.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

So should I be nervous that it’s a tie game in the 9th inning and the Brewers are now out of position players.

Probably not. The game probably won’t be lasting much longer.

Dammit. We really needed to take the lead.

Fisher will fit right in to the Robertson/Lopes/Reyes role of guys who get a cup of coffee here and offer zero value.

Given the option, I would rather have Billy McKinney back over Derek Fisher. Unfortunately that ship has sailed.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Given the option, I would certainly rather have Billy McKinney back over Derek Fisher. Unfortunately that ship has sailed.

They must really not think anything of Corey Ray at this point.

7 pitches, maybe Hader gets the 10th?

Ultimate test of the 1-inning Hader rule...

Looks like it’s going to be Devin Williams in the 10th, so we have the unfortunate but predictable answer to that question.

Is it really worth throwing Hader out there for another inning of a tie game. Even if they get out of the 10th they’ll have Narvaez on second to start the 11th and not much chance of scoring then either.

Narvaez can’t score from 2nd? News to me.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.
